Ghost Tour at The Alamo

Using Google Earth’s interactive 3D experience, the Ghost Tour at The Alamo uncovers haunted stories at the most iconic site in Texas

Experience The Alamo like you’ve never seen – or heard – it. Enter the Labyrinth and encounter the contest over whose stories are told.

A Labyrinth tour is part history, part myth, part unexpected story. We hack city spaces to uncover a pathway that faces us with the big challenges of the day.

Ghost Tour at The Alamo

The Alamo is one of the most iconic – and contested – places in Texas. The story of the famous battle runs deep in the identity of the Lone Star State. “Remember the Alamo” was the cry of the Texas revolutionaries. But how should it be remembered? As historical monuments increasingly come under scrutiny, the Cenotaph at The Alamo is the focus of a growing struggle for control of the story.

In this Labyrinth we uncover the stories of The Alamo and find ourselves increasingly surrounded by ghosts. This is no ordinary story.

About Labyrinth

Labyrinth provides alternative tours in contested places.

Every city has hidden stories hard-coded into its buildings, its streets and its art – stories that quietly enforce the rules we live by. We ‘hack’ cities for meaning, uncovering those stories so that together we can rewrite the rules.

Most tours tell you interesting facts about a place. We want to know what this place means. If you want a standard tour where you don't have to think too much then we're not for you. If you're ready to wrestle with the meaning of a place, then join us and hack a city.

Labyrinth makes the familiar unfamiliar and shows how the far-away is often closer to home than we think. So whether you're a resident wanting to experience your own place in a new way, or a tourist looking for an alternative way to get under-the-skin of a new city, Labyrinth is for you.
